BodyShop Fitness brings you a customized personal training program to not only meet but surpass your goals. We realize that health starts on these inside before you start seeing results on the outside. So we offer an accountability programs that surpasses all others to help you reach your goal.

Imagine after meeting with your trainer and telling them you have a cereal addiction at night, as you sit down to eat the bowl of cereal you get a text then a phone call. We try to help you recognize your trigger points so that you can overcome unhealthy habits. Whether you need one on one training, coaching, video accountability, constant text reminders etc., we are here to help. We want to see you succeed and live a healthy, happy life.

Working one-on-one with a personal trainer helps make fitness fun and takes the guess work out of what workout routines are suitable for you! With both your trainer and yourself focused on your goals, your chances for success are much higher than going through this process alone.

Your certified trainer will help guide you nutritionally, will give you help with your fitness routine outside of the training session, and will take you though a progressive training regimen that is specifically designed for you. Our ultimate goals is for you to have the knowledge and "habit" to continue your healthy living throughout your life.

Kimberly Murray

Owner/Trainer

Kim’s number one passion is helping others achieve health and strength from the Inside Out.  Having dealt with weight loss issues herself, she knows the importance of creating a lifestyle.  Though nutrition is imperative she realizes it is affected by emotion. 

Her goal for her business is to create a team type environment.  We are all in this together.  How much more success will a person have if they have a team backing them up?!  Working in the fitness industry for over 8 years she has experience with weight loss coaching, fitness group instructing, Bodybuilding competitions, powerlifting competitions, nutritional guidance, as well as custom personal training.

Everyone has a fitness journey.  It may not all happen fast but the point is to never quit.  Think about how much you could of accomplished if you kept going despite setbacks.  No matter what age, fitness level, or gender we will find a way to hold you accountable.

Kim has 2 teenage children who is the center of her world.  Her hobbies include powerlifting and mustangs.  She would love to find a way to make a healthy lifestyle more of a community effort. 


Michelle Moody

Trainer

Michelle started out as a weight loss client.  After achieving her goals with mud run, weight loss and several figure competitions, she found she had a passion for fitness. 

Michelle is a mom of 2 beautiful girls.  She works as a full time accountant.  In her spare time she loves working out, spending time with her girls and loving on her two dobermans.

Jill Powell

Trainer

After battling weight issues on and off for over half her life, she decided to fully commit herself to becoming healthy.  Jill fell in love with the sport of bodybuilding after just one show and became a certified personal trainer. 

She plans on working towards her IFBB pro card in the next two years while helping others achieve their fitness goals. 

Jill is also an esthetician and makeup artist with over 12 years experience.  She is the owner of Charleston Lash and Beauty Bar.

Jessica Evans

Trainer

Jessica loves being a personal trainer because she loves to help people gain strength not only in the gym but to overcome situations in life.  She likes to help them gain confidence in all aspects of their life while living a healthy lifestyle. 

When she is not at the gym, Jessica works as a full time Dental Assistant.  She loves helping people, traveling and spending quality time with her husband.

 


Rachel John

Trainer

Rachel has struggled with her weight most of her life, between not being skinny enough and being overweight.  Rachel soon found her balance and fell in love with bodybuilding.  She is an NPC Figure Competitor as well as a certified Personal Trainer through ISSA. 

Rachel strives to help people gain true happincess and confidence within themselves, and loves a challenge!

Chris Carroll

Trainer

In 1985, Chris was born in Milford, CT.  He moved to Summverville, SC when he was 2 years old.  He stayed in the area until he was 15 and move to PA to finish high school.  He enlisted in the Army as a Tanker and served until 2010. 

In 2011 he moved back to Summerville, and started his career as a personal trainer.  He also attends College of Charleston part time.  He has competed in several Crossfit competitions as well as powerlifting meets.

He specializes in strength training, functional training, weight loss and body recomposistion.

He currently is a FITour certified personal trainer and a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer.

Laurie Hart

Nutrition Coach

Laurie is a 42 year old Registered Nurse, married, mother of 3.  Her passion for fitness began 2 years ago – she was tired of feeling unhealthy and out of shape.   That year she decided to set the goal of competing in a Figure Competition and from that point on she was hooked! She started eating clean, lifting weights and has competed and placed in 3 NPC shows thus far.

Last year, she entered a 12 Week Body Transformation Challenge sponsored by Fighter Diet. Out of over 400 contestants, she was chosen the winner!

Also, she is also currently featured as a Fighter Diet Athlete on their website.

She is currently studying to get my personal training certificate through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and can’t wait to start making a difference in people’s lives.


Todd Ellis

Trainer

Todd is certified in strength and conditioning, speed & agility and nutrition, all with emphasis on sports performance. 

He has over 20 years of coaching experience with high school, collegiate and professional athletes.  Todd specializes in long term athletic development of youth athletes, injury prevention and recovery, and effective programing for 40+ athletes, retired military, and a former DOD Engineer.  He has a Master of Science in Health Education and Sports Science.

 

Eugene Smith II

Trainer

Eugene is a former two sport NCAA collegiate athlete.  He graduated from South Carolina State in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education. 

In 2012, Eugene received his ISSA certification as a FItness Trainer.  He has coached high school sports for over 5 years as well as been a Personal Trainer for the military overseas for 4 years.
